Candle Care
Want to get the best scent experience and maximum life out of your candle? Trust me, these tips will make your candle last longer…
- When lighting your candle for the first time, burn until the wax reaches the edge of the jar to prevent tunnelling (build-up of wax around the sides of the jar). This may take 2 - 4 hours.
- Keep lit candles away from drafts to prevent uneven burning and smoke.
- Before relighting, trim the wick to approx. 5mm to prevent soot and smoke.
- Ensure wick trimmings and debris are removed before lighting.
- After extinguishing the flame with a snuffer, centre and straighten the wick if needed.
- After burning the surface of your candle may appear uneven or the wax may slightly discolour, don’t worry! This is simply down to the natural ingredients in the fragrance.Make sure you stop burning your candle when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom.
